Executive MBA Program

An exciting partnership with the University of New Brunswick Saint John (UNBSJ) began in October 2010. This partnership has resulted in the development of an onsite Executive MBA program. Over a two year period, participants have the opportunity to earn their MBA degree, while they apply industry experience and expertise in the classroom.

iLEAD

The iLEAD program was created to build on our leadership capabilities and enable leaders to engage in externally-focused discussions that will drive our business in new ways. Launched through a 10-month series of Podcast Discussions, these sessions have proven to be informative and engaging, with topics ranging from global economic trends and societal change to current events and industry-specific issues.

E3 Women's Forum

The E3 Women’s Forum began in 2005 as a grassroots organization within Irving Oil to “empower, engage and enable” female employees. Dedicated to supporting women’s professional development, the E3 Women’s Forum sponsors workshops, networking events, mentoring programs, and breakfasts with senior management. Although the E3 Women’s Forum was originally sponsored and funded by Irving Oil, it is entirely self-sustaining now, highlighting the profound impact that our employees can have at our company.

Work Environment Team (WE Team)

The Work Environment Team (WE Team) is comprised of volunteers from our various locations who represent many different functions in our business. The team is working together to increase communication, improve physical surroundings and encourage teamwork throughout the business. The WE team also coordinates employee activities and generates new ideas for improving our overall work environment at Irving Oil.

Refinery Canaport Recreation Association (RCRA)

The Refinery Canaport Recreation Association (RCRA) acts as an organizing group for special recreational activities for employees at our refinery. RCRA has regularly sponsored recreational events that include skiing, hiking, running clubs and local exploration trips.
