Irving Oil 'Tower' Station Opening at Village Historique Acadien
Proud of our Acadian connection

Since the opening of our company's first service station in Bouctouche, it has been the Acadian people who have helped build our company, both as first employees and customers.

Acadian architect Sam Roy worked together with K.C. Irving and later Jack Irving from 1931 to 1974. Mr. Roy designed the 1930s 'tower' station for K.C. Irving, an innovative design that was duplicated at other Irving stations throughout the Maritimes.
Over a year ago, one of these stations was moved from Sackville, NB to Caraquet, NB, where it was restored as part of the Village Historique Acadien, a historical site dedicated to portraying the Acadian lifestyle between 1770 and 1939.

We are grateful to be able to celebrate our company's history with the Acadian community that helped give us our start.
