New Irving Mainway opens its doors today on White Mountain Highway
NORTH CONWAY, NH — Hikers, leaf peepers and local residents traveling Route 16 en route to New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest have a new place to stop for a hot cup of fresh coffee and a warm sausage biscuit.
The new North Conway Irving Mainway is bustling with local residents and travelers this morning who are visiting the new store to taste the freshly baked cinnamon rolls and pick up a stack of energy bars and juicy apples on the way to the peaks. The store opened its doors at 1500 White Mountain Highway today at 8 a.m.
Residents as well as travelers visiting North Conway’s shops and outdoor attractions can now find bakery and Amato’s Express deli offerings including fresh made-to-order sandwiches, fresh pasta, spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, salads and soups. The store also offers freshly baked muffins and pastries and World of Taste Coffee as well as fresh Oakhurst dairy offerings and other groceries.
“We've made our bakery and deli offerings the focal point of our North Conway location,” says Harry Hadiaris, Irving’s director of convenience retail operations. “Every bakery product will be baked fresh on site each day. If you have a chance to stop by one of our locations when we're baking fresh muffins, banana bread or double chocolate whoopie pies, you'll know the aroma of our fresh baked goods is a treat in itself.”
North Conway customers can choose from a selection of small take home bakery packages. These are mini multi-packs that customers can eat on the go, bring home, or take to the office to share. Irving is offering banana bread in a full loaf size also.
“We invite North Conway residents and travelers to stop in, meet our friendly staff and check out the new store for yourself,” Hadiaris says. “While you’re there, be sure to take advantage of our grand opening specials and tell us what you think of our new location.”
In the morning hours, the store will also offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches including croissants with ham, egg and cheese or biscuits with sausage and other combinations.
Other freshly-prepared items such as personal pizzas, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and chicken fingers will be available throughout the day.
The new store will feature five fueling islands including a diesel fueling option, a propane exchange, as well as air and vacuum systems for vehicle care, an ATM machine and wireless airtime cards, accessories and long distance phone cards. The new Irving Mainway is open 5 a.m. to midnight every day.
