Eliot’s newest neighbor receives a warm welcome from local residents
Hillsborough store is set to open its doors today at 11 a.m.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — On cold winter mornings, Eliot, Maine residents can now head down to the new Irving Mainway for a warm blueberry muffin, a fresh cup of coffee and the morning paper.

The new Eliot Mainway is bustling with local residents who are visiting the new store this week to taste the freshly baked cinnamon rolls, sample a sausage biscuit or just say hello to their neighbors while sipping a hot cup of fresh coffee en route to the office. The store opened its doors to Eliot residents and visitors Thursday, Dec. 11.

Irving Oil is pleased to announce the opening of two new Mainway locations in Eliot and Hillsborough, New Hampshire. Hillsborough is set to open its doors today at 11 a.m.

The new Irving Mainway locations feature bakery and deli offerings including fresh made to order sandwiches, salads, soups, as well as freshly baked muffins and pastries, and Irving’s World of Taste Coffee.
“We've made our bakery and deli offerings the focal point of the Hillsborough and Eliot locations,” said Harry Hadiaris, Irving’s director of convenience retail operations. “Every bakery product will be baked fresh on site every day. If you have a chance to stop by one of our locations when we're baking fresh muffins, banana bread or double chocolate whoopie pies, you'll know it's a treat in itself.”

Customers may choose from a selection of small take home bakery packages. These are mini multi-packs that customers can eat on the go, bring home, or take to the office to share. Irving is offering banana bread in a full loaf size also.

“We will also offer our Eliot and Hillsborough customers a wide array of grocery items including healthy snacks such as fresh fruit and energy bars,” Hadiaris said.

In the morning hours, the store will also offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches including croissants with ham, egg and cheese or biscuits with sausage and other combinations.
Other items such as personal pizzas, mozzarella sticks, onion rings and chicken fingers will be available throughout the day.

The new Eliot store located along Route 236 is now open 24 hours each day. The new Hillsborough store, located on West Main Street, will be open daily from 5 a.m. to midnight. Irving will offer local customers three grades of gasoline as well as diesel fueling options at both locations.
