Irving Oil announces Saint John Family Fun Day celebration
SAINT JOHN - To celebrate its two billionth barrel milestone and thank Saint John for its support over the years, Irving Oil will be presenting Saint John Family Fun Day on March 4. This special day will feature a series of free family events scheduled around Saint John on the first day of March Break.
Activities are:
Fred Penner and Friends in Concert at the Imperial Theatre
Shows at 2:00pm and 4:30pm
Tickets can be picked up in person beginning at 3pm on Thursday, March 2 at the Imperial Theatre Box Office (no telephone reservations will be taken for this show).
Note: If you had already purchased tickets to the 2pm Fred Penner performance from the Imperial Theatre, please present your tickets at the Imperial Theatre Box Office on Thursday or Friday to receive a full refund and free tickets to the show.
Morning at the Movies at Studio 10
Come see Curious George or 8 Below. Pajamas are encouraged! Popcorn and pop is on us, too.
Both movies will play at 10am and 12noon.
To book your tickets for Morning at the Movies, please call 644-1604. Reservations will be taken starting at 10am on Thursday, March 2nd and reservation lines will close at 2pm on Friday, March 3rd.
Free Craft Day at Michael’s (The Arts and Crafts Store)
Join us for a fun craft activity on Saturday between 10am – 5pm.
We’ll have a variety of crafts for three age groups:
5-8 years Terra Cotta Pot Animals
8-10 years Clothes Pin Wishing Well
10-12 years Decoupage Picture Frame
Each 45-minute craft session will begin on the hour.
Call 644-1604 to reserve your child’s spot at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, or 4pm. Reservations will be taken starting at 10am on Thursday, March 2nd and reservation lines will close at 2pm on Friday, March 3rd. Maximum of 8 children per age group per session.
Bowlarama (West Side)
Join us for some candlepin bowling at Saint John Bowlarama West, 248 Lancaster Avenue
11am to 5pm
To reserve your bowling lane, please call 644-1604. Lanes will be booked for an hour at a time. Reservations will be taken starting at 10am on Thursday, March 2nd and reservation lines will close at 2pm on Friday, March 3rd.
KV Bowling Lanes
Join us for bowling fun at the KV Bowling Lanes in Quispamsis.
11am to 5pm.
To reserve your bowling lane, please call 644-1604. Lanes will be booked for an hour at a time. Reservations will be taken starting at 10am on Thursday, March 2nd and reservation lines will close at 2pm on Friday, March 3rd.
New Brunswick Museum
Come visit the New Brunswick Museum and find out why the ocean doesn’t freeze. Try a whale blubber experiment in the Hall of Great Whales. Dissect owl pellets and discover what birds live in New Brunswick. Enjoy a fossil hunt through the gallery and create your own fossil cast to take home.
To enjoy free admission to the museum and these special activities, just visit the museum any time between 10am and 5pm.
Please note that these are family events, and parent supervision is required at each venue for each child/family. Pre-booking is required for all events listed above, except where noted.
