Irving Oil’s Fueling Dreams Campaign Raises $123,304 For Special Olympics Athletes And Programs
PORTSMOUTH, NH — Special Olympics New Hampshire and Irving Oil are proud to announce a 2016 Fueling Dreams fundraising total of $123,304 in support of New England athletes achieving their goals. A special check presentation took place on November 9 at the Irving Common Man Northbound location in Hooksett.
“Our partnership with Irving Oil and Circle K through the Fueling Dreams promotion allows us to increase awareness surrounding our movement and gives us the opportunity to continue to grow our programs for our athletes,” said Mary Conroy, President of Special Olympics New Hampshire.
Since 1999, Irving Oil and Circle K have helped raise more than $4 million for Special Olympics programs across New England. Each year, Irving Oil and Circle K locations throughout New England offer commemorative clings for $1 donations during a month-long Fueling Dreams campaign in August. This year Irving Oil also donated $1 for every fuel transaction during the campaign’s fundraising finale, Fueling Dreams Day, on August 27, 2016, where Special Olympics athletes and law enforcement officers teamed up to pump gas and wash windshields for customers at participating Irving Oil locations.
