    People matter

It is our focus to build a strong, inclusive culture that supports diversity, individuality and respect, where employees are proud to work and feel a sense of belonging. We are committed to our diversity and representation targets, working hard to nurture a strong sense of inclusion for our employees and partners.

    Our targets:
    • Maintain gender parity in corporate leadership roles.
    • Increase female representation in all leadership roles to 40% by 2030, striving toward gender parity.

We recognize that our efforts to create an inclusive workplace is a journey versus a destination. Together with our Employee Resource Group, our focus on learning and awareness, employee engagement opportunities, and programs and policies have all helped to shape our vision to create safe spaces and a sense of belonging, respect and authenticity.

We invest in community organizations and support causes that empower people in the LGBTQ+ community, people of colour, newcomers, women and people with disabilities.

We are making progress toward our 2030 goal to have 40% of our leadership roles held by women.

Our Diversity and Inclusion network hosts engagement events focused on wellness, sustainability and social connection. People leaders must complete instructor-led training on unconscious bias in partnership with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI).
