Facebook helps you stay in touch with your network through their website/ mobile application. We make it easier for you to share any content of interest on Facebook and sometimes, we may present with some targeted adverts on Facebook based on your engagement with our website(s).


Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how our media campaigns work and how you interact with our Site in order to improve the user experience.


Google Tracking

Google tracking cookies enable us to understand if you complete certain actions on our Site after you have seen or clicked through one of our adverts served via Google. Based on the content you have engaged with on our websites Google are able to deliver some targeted adverts across other Google partner websites.


DoubleClick Floodlight

DoubleClick Floodlight cookies enable us to understand if you complete certain actions on our Site after you have seen or clicked through one of our display/ video advertisements served on Google or other platforms via DoubleClick. DoubleClick uses this cookie to understand the content with which you have engaged on our Site so they may subsequently deliver some targeted advertisements to you.



LuckyOrange is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback.


Acquia Lift

Lift collects data on the customers that are visiting our Site, and tells us what pages were visited and the amount of time on a page. Lift also captures the IP address of the user and the country/city they are viewing the page from. Lift is GDPR compliant in the protection of any user data where applicable.


US Rewards

Irving Oil US Rewards utilizes a cookie for session information for logged in users.  This Cookie expires every hour, at which point users will need to log back in to the portal.

Strictly necessary

Except for essential cookies, all cookies will expire after 30 days.

Third Party Website Cookies

When using our website, you may be directed to other websites or you may encounter embedded content in the course of which you will be directed to third party websites. These websites and embedded content may use their own cookies. Third party cookies or cookies that are set by a website other than this website owner. We do not have control over the placement of cookies by other websites, even if you are directed to them from our website.

Use of IP addresses and Web Logs

We may also use your IP address and browser type to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Site and to improve the service we offer to you. Your IP address might also be used to gather broad demographic information.

We may perform IP lookups to determine which domain you are coming from (eg to more accurately gauge our users’ demographics.

HTML Email Web Beacons

Our marketing related emails contain a single, campaign-unique “web beacon pixel” to tell us whether our emails are opened and combined with other technology verify any clicks through to links within the email. We may use this information for purposes including determining which of our emails are more interesting to you and to query whether users who do not open our emails wish to continue receiving them. The pixel will be deleted when you delete the email. If you do not wish the pixel to be downloaded to your device, you should choose not to click links that we send you. This information may be connected to your personal identity.
