What is Blue Rewards?

In June 2026, AIR MILES® transitioned to Blue Rewards.
Blue Rewards offers members enriched benefits and expanded partnerships – making it easier for collectors to earn and redeem faster.

Do I need to sign up for Blue Rewards?

If you were an AIR MILES collector, you are already a Blue Rewards member. Your account was automatically converted and your Miles have also converted from Miles to Points – at no loss in value. 

If you were not an AIR MILES collector, you can visit any Irving location to pick up a Blue Rewards card or sign up at www.BlueRewards.ca. 

Do I need a Blue Rewards card?

Because your AIR MILES collector number is now your Blue Rewards member number, you can continue to use your AIR MILES card to earn and redeem rewards at any Blue Rewards partner, including Irving. 

If you would like a Blue Rewards card for your existing account, log in at www.BlueRewards.ca to request a card.

If you were not an AIR MILES collector, you can visit any Irving location to pick up a Blue Rewards card or sign up at www.BlueRewards.ca. 

What happened to the Miles in my account?

Your Miles have automatically converted to Blue Points – at no loss in value. 

Do I need to update my Hometown Rewards account?

Hometown Rewards members will not need to update their member information in the Hometown Rewards app. Just keep swiping your AIR MILES or Blue Rewards card to earn rewards. 

Do I need to update my Irving Energy account?

Irving Energy customers who had an AIR MILES card linked to their account will continue to earn rewards with fuel deliveries, equipment purchases and services.

How do I redeem with Blue Rewards?

You will be able to redeem Blue Points towards the same items you redeemed Miles on – only there will be more partners to choose from! This includes e-gift cards, in-store purchases at participating partners, merchandise, live events, entertainment and attraction tickets, travel experiences and charitable donations.  

At Irving, you can redeem 1,500 Points to save $10 towards your fuel purchase.
