Background
Born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, Andrea is a proud first-generation college student and now mother of two small children. She worked for six years at a coffee shop during high school and college. After high school, she attended New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) and took Chemical Technology. During her time at New Brunswick Community College (NBCC), Andrea completed three co-op terms, gaining valuable hands-on experience that reinforced her passion for the field.

Career
Upon graduation, Andrea began her career as a Chemical Technologist with Irving Oil, starting off in the lab where she did her co-op terms. Now, as a Change Coordinator, she helps manage formulation updates, packaging changes and product development for Irving Blending & Packaging's portfolio, including engine oils, transmission fluid and chemicals. She loves seeing projects move from idea to product launches and witnessing the teamwork it takes.
In addition to her full-time job, Andrea runs a part-time photography business, combining her technical and creative passions. As a mom, she values the flexibility of a hybrid work model, allowing her to balance her career and family life.
